外務省は、国際法や国際紛争処理に関する仕事に関心のある方が、国際裁判機関等でインターン シップを行うための滞在費を支援し、将来的にこれらの機関等の中枢で働く職員や国際裁判等の弁護人などの役割を担える国際司法分野の専門家として育成することを目的とし、「国際裁判機関等インターンシップ支援事業」を実施しています。(日本国籍保有者対象)

Daikin Festival 2024

Come celebrate Daikin’s 30th Anniversary at this Bon Odori-style festival at Point Mallard Park.
Daikin Festival 2024 features live music, Japanese Folk Dancing and an amazing array of food and drink: Pizza, BBQ, chicken fingers, jambalaya, hamburgers, Yakisoba (grilled buckwheat noodles with beef and special sauce) and this year’s new addition, Yakitori (charcoal-grilled chicken in a special sauce).
The festival is a family event, with something for everyone. You can learn Shodo (Japanese calligraphy), pick up a few dance steps, and hear a variety of music–including Daikin’s “Taiko Force” drum team and popular local band Natchez Trace. The evening of food, and music, and family fun will end with a fireworks presentation.
Best of all, it’s FREE! Your food, drink, and entertainment is all taken care at no cost to your family. |

Japanese Spring Festival 2024

The Monte Sano State Park will be hosting a Japanese Spring Festival at their Japanese Garden. During the festival there will be showcases of Japanese cultural with performances by the Daikin Taiko Force, Bon Odori, and Nihon Buyo. They will also have demonstrations of martial arts like laido, Karate, Aikido, and Kendo. There will also be activities like calligraphy and origami as well as Japanese snacks to partake in. |

Attendees will be welcomed by association co-chairs, Dr. Daniel Chu and Dr. Shuko Harada, followed by a special presentation by the Curators of Asian Art from the Birmingham Museum of Art.

Japan-America Society of Georgia May Kayobi-Kai Networking Dinner

Kayobi-Kai dinners are on-going dinner meetings that meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at different restaurants in the metro Atlanta area. The Kayobi-Kai is intended to be an informal gathering to promote friendship and social networking, and anyone who to interested is welcome. All Kayobi-Kai dinners will begin at 6:30pm and everyone in attendance will be responsible for their own check at the end of the evening.
火曜日会は毎月第二火曜日にアトランタの各種のレストランで食事をしながら、参加者の親睦を深めるつどいの場を提供いたします。くつろいだ雰囲気の中でどなたでも参加できます。時間は毎回 6時半からで、支払いは食事の終わりに各自でしていただきます。
The average group attending these Kayobi-Kai dinners is 8-15 people, and depending on the restaurant, we may have to cap attendance. Please sign up if you plan to come, so we know to expect you. Should you have any suggestions and/or requests regarding restaurants for future Kayobi-Kai meetings, please do not hesitate to contact the JASG office and let us know your recommendations. We look forward to seeing you at this and/or other upcoming Kayobi-Kai dinners. |

There will also be vendors selling pots, tools, and soil. |
