Join Global Atlanta on January 20, 2022 to hear from Kazuyuki Takeuchi, Consul General of Japan. The discussion will include a one-on-one conversation with the Global Atlanta editorial team, followed by a moderated audience Q&A. A follow-up of the event will be published in an article following the discussion.

This event will take place in person at Miller & Martin, and after the event, Consular Conversations Annual Pass holders will have access to the recording of the discussion. For public health and safety reasons, everyone attending in person must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and wear masks during event.

About the Consular Conversations series: 
Sponsored by Miller & Martin PLLC since its inception in 2016, Global Atlanta’s Consular Conversations series consists of monthly public interviews with consuls general in the Southeast United States. In 2021, the series has focused on diplomats based outside of Atlanta who count Georgia as part of their territory.

Japan-America Society of Georgia: Georgia-Japan Peace Bell

The Japan-America Society of Georgia and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, in cooperation with the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Atlanta, seek to construct a traditional Japanese bell tower to house the Carter Center’s “Peace Bell”.
