1) JAASC Japanese/English Conversation Table – Greenwood, SC 　　　2/20/20

JAASC is hosting another conversation table at Inn on the Square in Greenwood on Thursday, February 20th, 7:00-8:30 PM.

2) Hinamatsuri Children’s Activities – Greenville, SC  2/29/20

Traditional Hina dolls will be on display at The Children’s Museum of the Upstate (TCMU) in Greenville February 25-March 1 for Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival).  JAASC will be partnering with TCMU to lead activities and crafts for children during Hinamatsuri on Saturday February 29th, 11:00 AM -1:30 PM.  For more information on the event, please visit the Children’s Museum website.

We are still looking for some more volunteers to help lead the activities.  If you are interested, please email me or sign up here!

3) JAASC Ladies Club Event: Successful Women, aiming to be a bridge between Japan and the United States     –   Greenville, SC  2/29/20

As our second gathering, the Ladies Club will host a lecture that coincides with the Hinamatsuri festivities, which wish for the healthy growth of young girls.  We have invited Jessica Cork, Vice President of YKK-USA, who is fluent in both English and Japanese and an avid volunteer, to provide a keynote lecture on our theme, “Successful women, aiming to be a bridge between Japan and the US.” If you are planning to return to work in Japan, are job hunting in the US, want to volunteer, or are considering the future of your daughter(s), please consider joining us! We also hope that any men who are interested will feel welcome to attend.  For more information, please see the attached invitation!

When: Saturday February 29, 2020, 2:00-4:00 PM

Location: The Children’s Museum of the Upstate (2nd floor conference room)

Cost: Free　　　　Limited to 30 people.

The talk and discussion will be given in Japanese, but English is also possible.

4) JAASC Business Forum: Industrial Project Management  – Greenville, SC 3/19/20

JAASC and Denham-Blythe Company are partnering to host a business forum on Industrial Project Management at the Coldwell Banker Caine conference room on Thursday March 19th, 6:30-8:30 PM.

2月25日から3月1日まで、グリーンビルにある子供博物館は雛祭りのための伝統的な雛人形の展示をします。日米協会は2月29日（土）午前11時～午後1時半より、子供博物館主催の活動の一環として 子供向けのアクティビティを共催します。 詳細についてこちらよりご覧ください。

3) 日米協会 Ladies Club「春の集い」: 

「輝く女性、日米の架け橋を目指して」 –  Greenville, SC        2/29/20

JAASC Ladies Clubは第２回目の集まりとして、女の子の健やかな成長を願う雛祭りに相応しい講演会を開催致します。日米両語を流暢に使いこなし、本業にボランティア活動に大活躍されているYKK-USAのジェシカ・コーク副社長（Jessica Cork）をお招きして、「輝く女性、日米の架け橋を目指して」と題してお話していただきます。日本で復職予定の方、アメリカで就活希望の方、ボランティア活動を経験したい方、娘さんの進路を検討中の方など是非ご出席ください。男性の皆さんにもご参加いただけたら幸いです。詳細については、添付の招待状をご覧ください。
