Join us for a special screening of the acclaimed Japanese film Kokuho!

This sweeping historical drama runs 174 minutes (just under three hours) and offers a visually stunning and emotionally powerful look at the world of traditional Kabuki theater.

Kokuho has been widely celebrated, winning Best Picture at the Japan Academy Film Prize along with numerous other awards, including honors for Best Director and Best Actor. The film has also received international recognition, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Makeup and Hairstyling and the Audience Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

JASNC members can purchase tickets for only $8.75 for either the matinee or evening showing.
