On Tuesday, May 7th, 2019, from 6:30-8:30PM, the NC Japan Center shall host a “Reiwa
Celebration” Event at Sono Sushi Bar & Restaurant in downtown Raleigh.
This incredible, multicourse dinner and saké tasting is to celebrate the advent of the new
imperial “Reiwa Era” in Japan, and to commemorate the abdication of Emperor Akihito as his
son Prince Naruhito ascends the Chrysanthemum Throne.
